I think I may have asked this before, or have seen it somewhere within these forums, but can't find it now.
I want to be able to add undrafted players into my database, but directly to the free agency/ available player pool. Is there a way to do this?
Only thing I have tried is to add directly to the DB from the file menu, but they don't show up in the available players under assign unused player option.
Thanks!

if you want to add them directly to your Free Agent output page.. then you would have to manually create each new FA onto a team that is in your league and just make sure their contract is 0.
this is the only way I know of and how I would do it. doesnt mean there isnt another way.

When entering them directly into the DB, for each player you need to create all their ratings and such and then click "Update Player" and they should show up in the unused players. The way I do it for large groups of players is use FHL Stuff to convert .ros to .drs, then load the .drs up in FHL Tools and export the it to a .csv. Add all the new players into the .csv, load it up in FHL Tools again and export to .drs with the name of your league files (I rename the old .drs first in case something goes wrong so I can just swap it back in). Then open the sim, go to the player DB and Merge DB (this prevents duplicating players). *note that when you convert .ros to .drs you lose any players that were in the unused player list. I always create a dummy team and add them to it beforehand. Eric has an online file converter (see link below) which might be quicker and easier than my method, but I haven't tried it yet because I've just stuck with what I know. fantasysimhockey.freeforums.net/thread/110/fhlsim-online-drs-ros-converter

You can use mine, it works as well as FHLStuff. fantasysimhockey.freeforums.net/thread/110/fhlsim-online-drs-ros-converterHow To Import New Player? You need to create a .csv file with the same informations as mine. (Create a .csv file with your .ros to see the template.) Enter your .csv file and it will download. Overwrite the downloaded .drs file over your league file. In FHLSim, just add the player to the team you want to add it. ("team name" -> Team Roster -> Add Player). All your new players should be in this list. Be sure to use the same delimiter as in the input box. Just remember to save your league files before doing those thing, easy to mess everything! .ros is your active players in a team. .drs is all your player database not updated (depend on how you do rerates). What I mean by not updated, if you modify a player Overall directly in the Team Window, the .drs file is not updated with the new overall. Same thing for FHLSim rerate.
