I am using version 468 (have tested on 473, and 474 though) and just started a new season, money is on, and the season is not an exhibition season. The teams are getting attendance but the Net Profit is ALWAYS $0.00? I've simmed two days now and the problem persists. I have changed money on and off, redone the schedule, changed the finance sliders up and down but keep getting $0.00 for each game. Any ideas on how to fix? We just added Vegas as the 31st team, not sure if that's somehow the issue?

you have odd number of teams? far as ive always known - FHL should always be even number of teams. Dont know if that is your issue or not - be odd if it is.
Maybe make a league file copy for testing, remove the 31st team, and test your finances again.

If you still get error, I can run some test on my side with your league files.

Ok I figured it out, not sure HOW this is happening but I am playing an exhibition schedule yet the exhibition schedule button is NOT clicked when creating a schedule. I simmed a full season as a test, no money on any games and playoffs were greyed out. I made a new schedule and simmed a full season, same result. I tried a third time and this time I clicked exhibition schedule and simmed a full season and each game has proper net funds showing and playoffs are possible. Eric can you take a look and see how or why this could be happening? I can email you my files if that works, let me know what you need?

It has happened to me before and seems to be a glitch in the sim on the later versions of FHLSim when you start a new season (i don't know what triggers it). There is a flag in the .lge file IIRC. You could fix the file, but I think its easier to just backup up your original files and sim your league through the playoffs again with version .444 and restart the season. Then take the resulting lge file and replace the current broken one on a copy of your backed up files to see if it works.

What program can I open this .lge file in?

You need a hexadecimal editor like HxD : mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/But you need a lot of patience, there are a lot of settings in this file & this is hexadecimal, so it's not straightforward because I don't know which setting. Also, I don't know if this is saved in the .lge or in another one... I recommand to just don't loose your time on this.

Ugh, just have same. Anyone tried yet to fix the .lge file or is there no real other choice but to re-start the league?

That's never been investigated by me, I can try with your files, I never experienced that behavior with my league.
There is no fix for the moment... Also, maybe I can ask Wynn (the FHLSim creator) about this bug.

Quick update:
I have ran a copy of those league files throughout the whole "pre-season" and obviously this is where it ends. All you can do there is create a new schedule but unfortunately this will just continue the problem, all new schedules I did where considered pre-season too eventhough I did not check the box for it.
I tried a lge file from an older back up but that did not help either

Question, when you ran the preseason for real, did you make a copy of the league then delete after running or did you use the FHL sim exhibition schedule?
I have always just made a seperate copy for preseason then reloaded my original for regular season but perhaps this might be what caused it?
