I would like to merge in my prospects that have been created into the current league database, how would I do that? I haven't ever done that before. All of the players are new so there won't be any overlaps...
I have my csv created and will turn it into a drs file or whatever file I need to make it into to make this work. Thanks in advance!

I'm currently working on something for you. I think a lot of commish will be very happy with this code. You will be able to convert your file directly on this webpage. DRS to CSV and CSV to DRS For now, the DRS to CSV only works... I.m working today on this. It should be done today. Here the page: richmondstpats.org/sim/converter/index.phpTo add new players in the database, you need the DRS file of your CSV file. You need to rename your DRS file with the name of your league files and overwrite it in your league files folder. After, you just need to add new player on each team you want them. To remember, the DRS file is just a database of players. If you remove this file from your league, your league will continue to run without issues. They are also not updated from your current ROS file. All players in a team are saved in the ROS file.

The page is now completed, you can use it! Just make sure to use the same csv template as mine. The template order is on my page.
How to add your new players from a .csv file 1. Make sure your csv use the same template as mine. 2. Use my page to create the .drs file with your .csv file. 3. Overwrite the new .drs file into your existing league .drs file. 4. In FHLSim, To add a player, you need to select the team and go to Team Roster -> Add Player and all your new FREE player should be there.

OK so I am trying to understand, the DRS file is just a list of players, so if I enter in a new DRS file with the same name, is it possible to merge it with the players already on team to update their ratings? Or will I manually have to go thru each roster, and add the players in again?
For example, I run a junior league for my primary league. I have 125 new players that are available to be drafted that will eventually be in the juniors. I do not want to lose the junior players already in the league, just add the new ones so that I can add them to teams, etc.
So I export my current DRS into a CSV.. I make sure my new list of prospects is set up the exact way as your csv is and copy those players into that csv. I then convert the CSV back to a DRS, rename it the name it was prior, and copy it into my FHL directory?
Seems easy enough, going to give it a try right now

OK so I seem to have figured out what I needed to do and was able to create the attached DRS file. The problem is, when I put it into my FHL directory, I have some weird entries in the player database, and if I try to delete them, or export the available players, the sim crashes. Any suggestions? Rookie.csv (24.64 KB)
Rookie.drs (24.41 KB)

To merge database, just press Merge DB.

There are errors in the .csv file. Also, if you set "," as delemiter, you have to change it on my page from ";" to "," Make sure you set Veteran as Veteran not 1.Used and Free player is very simple. Used = Is in a team and Free = not in a team.

I am not sure where the error would be. I have the players i exported and the ones I added exactly the same column wise, etc.
I managed to create a csv file using the player generator program, and was able to get it in the sim using your app without an assiue. It only appears to cause problems if I copy players from one CSV and paste it into the CSV generated by using your site. Could there be some sort of setting that I need to change?

Your csv file is delemited with "," comma and my code by default ";" semicolon. You have to change the delimiter in this case on my page. Here your .drs from your modified .csv file. Book1.drs (24.49 KB) Your modified .csv Book1.csv (25.53 KB)
